Pregnant woman hit by actor Nisha Kothari's car

Nisha Kothari, who shot to fame with a role in Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma's 'Sarkar', was involved in an accident of a woman near Santacruz Airport, on Tuesday morning.

Tina Zamtani, a resident of Ulhasnagar in her thirties, suffered a leg injury after Nisha's Honda City hit her while she was crossing the road. She was with her husband and they were headed to Vaishnodevi.

According to the Airport police, Salim(27), Nisha's driver was behind the wheels when the incident occured. Kothari, however, claims that she does not know how to drive a car and it was not her driver's fault as the victim suddenly came in front of the car.

Nonetheless, Kothari took the injured woman to Nanavati Hospital for the treatment and promised to bear the medical expenses.
